Foundation beam work is completed.Next,foundation has to be filled and height of basement to be raised first with brick for a height of 25cm and then provide Damp proof concrete on top of basement to prevent water seeping into floor of the house later.Basement brick work will be plastered inside.After filling up this raised portion of basement,brick work for walls will start

Foundation beam concrete work continues

While concreting Foundation beam,each pile columns in foundation are being raised up as vertical columns going up throughout height of building giving added strength to the building.Pictures show rectangular upward column reinforcements being fixed along with Foundation beam reinforcement

Foundation beam

After piling,pile chipping,filling the plot,levelling the plot,red sand is again filled to raise land and to provide stable support for foundation beams also usually called as plinth beam.Plinth beam acts as the support base for all walls of the building.Pictures show reinforcement steel work for plinth beam.Plinth beam in this case is of 40cm height and 25 cm width.Concreting of Plinth beam is expected to be completed by 5,July,09

Ground levelling and raising to new level

After raising pile columns,ground is being levelled to attain newly fixed ground level.Additional red sand is being filled as required.Pile waste is also being used to raise ground level.Picture shows ground being levelled and raised

All but two pile columns in front of car porch are raised up to ground floor level.Pictures show work in progress.Front two pile columns will be raised with foundation beam so that entry of cars will not be obstructed

Now levelling of ground upto top of these raised columns start.After this levelling and levelling of the entire compound 30 cm above front road level extra red sand will be laid if required to reach uniform level
